Data Interfaces

As well as the traditional keying methods for data input the Taxibank system, documented interfaces exist for the electronic creation of bookings and the import and export of data in agreed formats for use in third party reporting and accounting systems.

Data inputs The Taxibank booking system has the ability to take data in pre-defined CSV (Comma Separated Values) and cXML (Commercial eXtensible Mark-up Language) formats for items such as client cost centres, regular journeys etc.

In addition to this the new system is able to create real time stub bookings based on pre-determined live cXML feeds and automatic parsing of the contents received in structured emails.

Data outputs The Taxibank system is able to create scheduled structured output feeds and files on a client-by-client basis.

These files are created in pre-agreed cXML and CSV formats that can be made available to clients via the client extranet.
